
Racing the big orange ball to the poon flat. Every morning during our Cuba trip, the sun would gradually ascend over the distant horizon line as we scrambled into the skiffs. After a few failed attempts at lining up this shot (mostly due to hangovers and tardy fishing buddies) , it finally presented itself.

ABC foam in "angry August". This More-or-Less Hopper got its portrait cemented into the memory bank before proper retirement.

Scanning the banks of the Amazon from a dinky jon boat almost makes you forget you are a small fish in a mega pond. The drone sure helps remind you of that fact.

Big bug yoga along the banks of the Madison River. This shot was taken while on a much needed snack break after a unproductive morning of casting oversized foam. This short-lived phenomenon is one you have to see to believe.

The aftermath of a late August thunderstorm on the drift boatyard, post-guide day. It is always worth keeping the camera handy after a gnarly summer storm.
